Meet the team
As Director of HR, Sarah is passionate about staff Wellbeing and strives towards embedding health and wellbeing into the everyday processes and procedures at the College.
Lorraine offers 1-2-1 Wellbeing Sessions with staff to listen, support and signpost to the various wellbeing support options in the college. These appointments can be over the telephone, virtual or face to face in her office or at your work location. To make an appointment, book using the form below.
Julia is the first point of contact for scheduling all Wellbeing activities, including co-ordination of the Weekly Wellbeing Planner, wellbeing projects and initiatives, national campaigns and the College’s Wellbeing Days.
Christian offers 1-2-1 consultations on fitness, nutrition and wellbeing and can compile a personalised training plan, build confidence in the gym and receive the support and accountability to help you reach your potential, become healthier, reduce stress and achieve your fitness goals.
Wayne has worked as a Sports Lecturer at GCS since 2006 and has completed the GP Exercise Referral qualification. He can offer staff a free, confidential 1-2-1 consultation to design and lead safe and effective exercise programmes and sessions for anyone with longer term conditions such as hypertenstion, diabetes, asthma, depression, stress, arthritis, obesity and more with the ultimate aim of improving health and fitness.
Roy delivers sports massages to help recovery from training, ongoing aches and pains or simply to help with relaxation and reduce stress levels.
Linda teaches Holistic Therapies, Anatomy and Physiology at Broadway. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner and Sound Healer. She can offer sessions on Shamanic Healing/Journeying, talks on crystals, chakra cleansing, candle intention, the menopause and the use of herbs and essential oils.
Rob has worked at the College for 18 years and is a keen Cold Water Dipper. Regular cold water dips can energise you, improve sleep and focus, strengthen your immune systems, reduce stress and create a better mindset and best of all, is absolutely free!
Tim is a qualified fitness instructor and is working towards his level 1 Triathlon coaching qualification. He has competed in various Triathlons from sprint distances up to Ironman races over a period of 13 years.
Daniel is a qualified Swimming teacher with over 10 years’ experience at Swim schools throughout Swansea. He is a keen open water swimmer and has competed in various Triathlons.
Scott is a Union Wellbeing representative and can be contacted in relation to any wellbeing issues or ideas you wish to put forward for consideration.
Lee is a Union Wellbeing representative and can be contacted in relation to any wellbeing issues or ideas you wish to put forward for consideration.
