Examinations

Details on entry for any Examinations associated with your course will be discussed with you, at the appropriate time during the year, by your course tutor or class lecturer.

A timetable of the examinations for which you have been entered will be sent to you, at your home address, as soon as the exam entries have been confirmed, which will be sometime early in April. Your examination timetable will also be available to view through your e-ILP.

It is your responsibility to check this information and you will be informed by the Examinations Team if you have any clashes and how these will be managed.

If you need to apply for special access arrangements for an exam or are eligible for extra time or a scribe this must be discussed with your class lecturer and you need to speak to a member of the Additional Learner Support team to assess your specific need(s) as early as possible in the college year, as the deadline for some applications for exam concessions is October 31st 2016.

Examinations are normally free.  However, if you choose to retake an examination, you fail to attend an examination or you leave College after the entry has been made then you, or your parents, will be required to pay the appropriate fees.
